Job Role: Occupational Therapist
Location: DLF Phase 1, Gurgaon
Key Responsibilities:
Assessment and Evaluation:
- Conduct thorough assessments of students' motor, sensory, cognitive, and functional abilities.
- Identify students who may benefit from occupational therapy and recommend appropriate interventions.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special educators to understand the individual needs of students.
Therapeutic Intervention:
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on the assessment results.
- Provide one-on-one and small group therapy sessions focusing on improving motor skills, coordination, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
Collaboration and Support:
- Work closely with teachers and the special education team to integrate therapeutic goals into the classroom environment.
- Provide training and guidance to teachers and school staff on how to support students’ occupational therapy needs in the classroom.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Provide regular updates and reports to the school administration, parents, and the special education team.
- Monitor and review students' progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary.
Professional Development:
- Participate in professional development opportunities, workshops, and conferences.
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and inclusive school culture.
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy (OT).
- Valid OT license or certification as required by local regulations.
- Proven experience working with children, preferably in an educational or school setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, staff, and parents.
